Tallahassee, FL - A Tallahassee single mother's dream has come true.
Tara Dugan got the keys to her brand new home Tuesday morning.
Habitat for Humanity dedicated the Harris Street home to her at 10:00 a.m. Afterward, officials with the organization and family and friends toured the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home together with Dugan.
For the first time, her three children can now have their own rooms.
Dugan says, "This is a homeowner's dream to have their own home. To walk in, I'm just excited. me and my kids have something to live for and live in now. I'd just like to thank the people that helped build my home."
About 20 to 25 volunteers came to help build the home every Saturday over the past four months.
Dugan says she and her kids are moving in right away by Tuesday night.
