The push for supporting small business continues.
Local entreprenuers and community leaders joined early Saturday to host a toys for tots event.
They met at Private Quarters Hair Salon off of West Brevard in Tallahassee.
The purpose was to provide toys for kids this Christmas and bring more awareness to local and small businesses.
"If we can do what we can do in terms of having toys for tots, perhaps it can help kind of make Christmas really really good for a lot of families who otherwise wouldn't have the money to do it," said Brenda Moss, owner of Private Headquarters Hair Salon.
This effort is all a part of National Action Day. Leaders in counties across the state are also hosting toys for tots events.
