Tallahassee, FL-StarMetro has a new boss.
The City of Tallahassee introduced Ivan Maldonado as the transit company's director this week at a starting salary of $100,000 a year.
Maldonado takes over StarMetro with its $16.5 million dollar annual operating budget. Maldonado was previously its interim director.
"We are looking for ways to enhance our customer experience. A number of activities have already began. We have began to do customer appreciation events at the terminal and we will be doing other activities to reach out to the customers," said Maldonado.
StarMetro provides about 21,000 trips to customers every day.
