College Student Found Dead in Tifton

Tifton, GA - A Public Relations official from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton has confirmed the death of a student.

April Paulk, a sophomore at the college, was found dead inside her dorm room this morning. Campus police and paramedics arrived around 8 a.m. At this time, campus officials say it appears Paulk died of natural causes and do not suspect foul play.

Paulk is from Doerun, Georgia and was majoring in Diversified Agriculture. A grief counselor will be on campus at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon to offer assistance to faculty and students.
