Tim Sagul, of the Suwannee River Water Management District (District), was honored for 10 years of outstanding service at the District’s Governing Board meeting on November 15.
Sagul joined the Suwannee River Water Management District as a water resource engineer. Sagul is a professional engineer and has a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering and M.E. in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. He is currently the Resource Management Division Director.
He has worked in water resources related engineering in the regulatory departments of three of Florida’s Water Management District’s. Additionally, he has four years of experience in the private sector. This combination of public and private sector experience has given him a unique perspective on water resources in the State of Florida.
As the Resource Management Division Director, Sagul’s responsibilities include agricultural team, engineering projects, as well as compliance and enforcement of water use permitting, water well construction permitting, and environmental resource permitting.
