City of Tallahassee Release
The Tallahassee Regional Airport (TLH) announced today the addition of a second daily, non-stop flight between Tallahassee and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) beginning February 14. The additional direct flight, operated by a 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 regional jet, will be offered by American Eagle, a regional affiliate of American Airlines.
“The Airport continues to see excellent growth in customer activity, posting a 14 percent increase in total passenger volume in December 2012 over the same month in 2011,” said Commissioner Scott Maddox, lead commissioner on Airport issues. “We are confident that business and leisure travelers appreciate and will continue to take advantage of the increasing number of commercial flights and competitive fares being offered by the airlines.”
