Tallahassee, FL - The Tallahassee Police Department added a little manpower today.
Seventy-two kids spent the day at TPD for National "Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day."
Children of department employees got to learn about the ins and outs of the police department, exploring areas like forensics, patrol, SWAT, and K-9.
12-Year-Old Evan Grasso, who's father is in the Criminal Investigations Division says it's a bonding and learning experience.
Evan says, "How they take fingerprint and how they check the evidence and get everything from the crime scene; and how they can get all of their information. It's just been fun seeing what he does all day."
All of the kids also had child I.D.s made while at the police station.
Tallahassee, FL - Several Tallahassee Police Department vehicles, and motorcycles were on display as kids enjoyed the "2013 Take Your Sons and Daughters to Work Day" program at the Tallahassee Police Department this morning.
A K-9 demonstration also took place.
