TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- A police car was wrapped in support of the American Heart Association. Their logo, hashtag #LiveisWhy and website are featured on the car. It's to remind people that heart disease is the leading cause of death in men and women in America.
"The support and the community presence of TPD is paramount," said Jeneane Nuzzo with the American Heart Association. "We not only work with them and try to get them to help us raise dollars for the American Heart Association to achieve our mission of community education and medical research but also just for community awareness. And some of these guys have AED's in the back of their car and they're actually doing the work, with their hands or with those buttons. And we couldn't be more appreciative of that."
