A dentist who made house calls in Tallahassee turned out not to be a dentist after all according to the deputies who arrested her.
Court records show Elizabeth Warner was just convicted of practicing dentistry without a license. She'll be sentenced for it next month.
Arrest papers say back in 2012 Warner showed up at a Tallahassee home in a white coat and pulled teeth from two different people for just over 200 dollars.
One of those patients, arrest papers say, wound up needing surgery at a local dental clinic because the roots of the tooth were still intact.
And we need to make a correction:
Arrest papers indicated Warner was working as a dental technician at the VA clinic in Tallahassee at the time of her arrest, but a VA spokeswoman says she is not working there anymore. The Department of Veterans Affairs spokeswoman says Warner was terminated in August 2012.
