Tree Falls on Power Lines in Tallahassee Neighborhood

The weather is causing some damage in our area. Monday night an oak tree fell down on a few power lines.

It all happened a little bit after 11 p.m. near 2121 south meridian street.

Fire officials say the tree fell on power lines, but did not cause any damage to nearby homes.

Firefighters blocked the road on meridian at the magnolia intersection.

City workers eventually turned off power to the power lines, as crews begin to get them fixed.
