Veterans Day celebrations are scheduled all weekend.
Both Wakulla County and Jefferson County are hosting parades Saturday morning.
Tallahassee is holdings its Veterans Day parade on Monday at 10:45 am.
Vets Inc is expecting more than 30-thousand people to line Monroe Street.
This year the parade will include a flyover by a B-17 bomber and trumpets lining the route for an 11 am salute.
"The Marching Chiefs are providing us with trumpet players and they're going to beplaced every few hundred feet along Monroe Street. When we do the 21 gun salute and play taps, they're going to play taps along the entire street so we'll hear the echo effect of taps all the way down to Tennessee Street," parade organizer Joe West said.
Veterans Day events in Tallahassee start Saturday with a chili cookoff at the National Guard Armory. It starts at 11am.
Tallahassee will hold its first dance honoring vets at the American Legion Hall Saturday night. It starts at 8pm and features the band Tobacco Road.
Monday morning, there's a 5k run in honor of Allen Beal, a parade grand marshal who died earlier this year. It starts at 7:30am.
Vet Fest in Tallahassee's chain of parks starts at 9am Monday.
The Tallahassee Veterans Day parade starts at 10:45am Monday.
The Wakulla County Veterans Day parade is Saturday at 9am at Hudson Park.
The Jefferson County Veterans Day parade is Saturday at 11am.
