Tallahassee, FL-Some local veterans and their families got some much needed supplies Friday.

The Farm Share of Quincy dropped toilet paper, blankets, pillows and food to veterans and their families at the North Florida Fairgrounds.

The veterans are there for their annual Homeless Veterans Stand Down.

The veterans and their families are camping out at the park to bring awareness to the plight of homeless veterans.

The Stand Down runs from April 5 through the 7th.

"It makes us feel great. I can't see a more deserving group than our veterans that could use this product," said Dave Reynolds from the Farm Share.

In total, Farm Share says it delivered about 18 thousand pounds of supplies.
