Thomasville, Ga. -- On Thursday, March 6, 2014 at approximately 2:49 A.M., officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival officers were told by a clerk that she had been robbed at gun point by a black male.
According to the clerk , the male purchased items on three separate occasions. On the third time to the register, he asked for change and at that time he pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded all the money from the register. Words were exchanged between the clerk and the suspect, and he continued to rush the clerk to put the money in a bag by telling her to hurry up several times.
The clerk eventually put the money on the counter and suspect at that time fled from the store. Another employee witnessed the suspect get into a white vehicle (possibly a Chevrolet Impala) with a another person who appeared to be waiting there.
A description of the vehicle was sent out to law enforcement agencies in the area. At approximately 4:45 A.M. Georgia State Patrol in Valdosta conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle fitting the description given by the witness. During the stop an investigation produced a firearm and money in the vehicle. Two males in the vehicle Were arrested and is now in the Thomas County Jail on the following charges.
