Tallahassee, Florida (Press Release) - Dress for Success Tallahassee held its first interview suiting on the evening of August 26, in partnership with WORKFORCE plus. Dress for Success Tallahassee Board members and other volunteers dressed 9 local women to help them land new jobs.
“Our goal is to help women become financially independent by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools. Once they have the necessary skills in place and begin building their career, there’s no telling what they can accomplish. We are honored to be a part of their first step to financial independence” said Wendy Hedrick, Founder and CEO, Dress for Success Tallahassee.
The first suiting was held at the WORKFORCE plus location on South Monroe Street, and 9 local women received the proper professional attire to help them as they start the interview process.
“In the coming weeks, these 9 women will put their best foot forward during interviews for new employment. These ladies are ready to make a change in their life by joining or re-joining the workforce,” said Kimberly Moore, CEO, WORKFORCE plus. “It’s a big step and this is a natural partnership between WORKFORCE plus and Dress for Success Tallahassee. We share a common goal of meeting the needs of our local community.”
