The Good Morning Show 7-8am Monday-Friday

Hello loyal viewers of WCTV’s Good Morning Show. For many years we have broadcast The Good Morning Show from 6am until 8am on WCTV. The CBS network has made a change to its lineup that now makes it impossible for us to continue the second hour of the program on WCTV from 7a-8am. This change by CBS takes effect on January 7, 2008.

We will continue to broadcast The Good Morning Show from 6am to 7am weekdays on WCTV and also on WSWG TV.

And while we can no longer bring you the 7am to 8am portion of The Good Morning Show on WCTV, we are expanding our coverage so we may bring the program to you on the channels listed below. This change means the Eyewitness News team is bringing you more local news, on more channels, in the mornings than ever before. We hope you take the time to find us on your cable system channel and we you can count on us to continue to bring you the news you need each and every morning.

THE GOOD MORNING SHOW FROM 7-8AM CAN BE SEEN ON:

WCTV2
Comcast Digital: Channel 227
CNS cable: Channel 5
MediaCom cable: Channel 4
Over the air on Digital Channel 6.2

WSWG2

CNS: Channel 7
MediaCom cable: Albany: Channel 7
MediaCom cable Moultrie/Tifton: Channel 13
Over the air on Digital Channel 44.2

We don't like the changes CBS has made to your programming. Miss the full weather report in the morning (they cut you off quickly.) Get it all at lunch. Keep up the good work! Rob, you're a jewel!!!!

Sheena Samanipour is a good meteorologist. But, Please change her wardrobe and find some clothes that are not so tight. I have now refused to watch the weather for the fear of something falling out of her blouse.

Watch your station more than any other. Solved our problem when we installed DirecTV (wonderful!) Also then purchased a small indoor antenna, placed it on the stand right behind TV set, hooked that up, pointed toward your tower in Metcalf, GA. Now can go right off DirecTV and watch your shows broadcast on your DT2 whenever.

I enjoy watching the good morning show, but I'm tired of the same commercials over and over. Can't something be done about that.

So why dont you at least cut in for the local weather spots. You are becoming useless and unless someone puts a tower in tallahassee, we won't have any tv next year.

Stephanie Springer's story on "Major Storm Damage in Big Bend" was excellent. Video showed the damage and showed the heart of the people. Her reporting was clear and informative. Let's have more stories by Stephanie!!

I live in Valdosta and commute to Madison to work. I have enjoyed listening to channel 6 news in the morning on my way to work on the radio. I just want you guys to know, the ride seems a lot longer now that you're not there anymore!

Why don't you guys do what some other CBS affiliates around the country have done (e.g. WRAL in Raleigh/Durham and WCSC in Charleston, SC) and contract with the local FOX affiliate to carry your 7-8 a.m. news over-the-air there instead? Since you all already do the 10 p.m. news on FOX, you might want to look into this. Mornings just aren't right without seeing you all.

We cannot ger WCTV2 on our satellite. Please consider satellite access as well. I really don't like not haveing the entire good morning show. At least cut back in to the network for the weather break after 7:00 like you do on the weekends.
