Anon. you're as pathetic as the one's fighting. Players in all sports get ridiculed all the time at games, so this is no different. They had the chance to be the better person and walk away, perhaps there status symbol as FSU football players made them feel like the untouchables. Both parties need to be punished, no matter if they were gay, lesbian, cheerleaders or whatever, they were both wrong. It's time to clean up FSU football.

FSU is becoming the next Miami, but in the pan-handle... Time to kick these players off the team, take the losses, and start to recruit integrity and pride!

everylocation, this problem is not every where and that kind of attitude has promoted this behavior even more. A lot of schools have problems but most remove the player(s). FSU has had a long standing position that has allowed rapist, drug users, drug dealers, x-rated filmers, and all sorts of criminal activity to contimue without any results. There has not been a season in the last 15 years that one or more did not commit a violent act. It's time to make a change and start removing these players and clean up that program.

Vet and The Original Bob, I could not agree with you more. These men are NOT children. Their lives have been handed to them on a silver plater, and they want to just throw it away. Take it away and be done with it.

These thugs should be kicked off the team immediately. FSU has had a real problem with discipline, or more specifically, a lack thereof, for many years now. Get rid of these LOSERS. They are a LIABILITY, not an asset. Bob

What in blue blazes are these bloggers thinking when they refer to the players as "kids" and "freshmen"? There are young people this same age fighting in Iraq so that these numb-nut, jerks can have the priviledge of "playing" football. Send their ungrateful butts to Iraq for a season and let's see if they really want to "fight" or want to come home and "play". Another alternative would be for the FSU athletic department to hire some babysitters. Stupid is as stupid does!!!
