Tallahassee, Florida-
The Challenger Learning Center or IMAX theater hosted a movie viewing of "Space Junk 3D."
Children received free admission to that movie and two other space-themed films. The purpose was to educate people about debris that's orbiting in outer space.
In addition science activities and demonstrations were put on by the Center's education staff.
Space Junk 3-D shows that junk in space can threaten the safety of the earth's orbit. It also discusses solutions to the problem.
