Police say they're investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old Detroit man and wounding of five others.

Sargeant Eren Stephens said Monday that 12 to 16 people were in or near two cars outside a house early Sunday when a man opened fire with an assault rifle. The wounded are males ages 17 to 20.

Police say the gunman and one victim may have been involved in
some type of disagreement. So far, there are no reported arrests.

Deputy Mayor Saul Green says in the "chaos" of the shooting,
911 calls came from three locations.

One victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Four others
were driven to a nearby police precinct where officers rushed them
to a hospital. It's unclear if the mix-up delayed the dead man's
treatment.
