Stress Study on Americans

Many Americans lead fast paced, hectic, stressful lives with someone telling you what to do at every turn. While some try to ease that stress with relaxation techniques, many say they just can't escape it.

"School, working, money, financially it's just been tough, " said college student Jessica Newsome.

Newsome joins fellow Americans who say they're high on stress and low on fuel. A study out of Bellevue University shows more than 65% of Americans who participated in that study, say they're stressed to their limits. Another 32% say they're stressed because of money, they say their income is down while their debt is up. And 18% say work is the root of their stress. They say staff reductions in this economy have them working more than ever before.

Economists say more than 23 million Americans are unemployed, can't get full-time work or have stopped looking. But even with that number things have gotten better.

"We've created 4.3 million new jobs over the last 2, 27 months, over 800,000 just this year alone, the private sector's doing fine," said President Barack Obama in his recent news conference about the economy.

Economists say that's a passable number. While there is still plenty of work to be done some say they'll stick to looking on the brighter side.

"Faith, family, just being happy with what you have, not what you need to have next," said Tallahassee resident Josh Caretti.

All of us who are NOT in the top 10% income range are stressed by many levels and we need to stop fighting between us. There is no mention here about the stress seniors have with trying to exist on less than half the official poverty level income, medical concerns and not being able to get jobs if they want to work.

Right on. Dump the coke, fries and Mc Mystery nuggets too. That junk rots your brain just like most of TV.

I don't think any of the jobs are in the south. And Obama having to hire 4 new guys to change oil on air force one because you don't stay home, or to carry you old ladies luggage while she and girls travel on vacations do not qualify as jobs, that is punishment. Obama is a joke.

It's Romney you're thinking of, not Obama. Your confusion may be due to stress.

Oh really? What has Romney done in the last 3 years that has affected the lives and future of every citizen, and every future citizen, of the U.S?

That's great a college student complaining about being stressed to the max. Wonder when was the last time she was in a combat zone with people shooting at her around every corner and having to watch her every step just to make sure that she wasn't about to step on an ied. Wish sitting in class was all our military members had to worry about. Semper fi!

Lets break down your comment sentence by sentence. "And you Black Flag must be a democrat, you are a idiot." Research what a black flag symbolizes. Idiot? Learn how to structure a sentence and use proper grammar, then you call someone an idiot. "To 'frazzeled too" That doesn't make any sense. "These are the problems that arise when you have a communist muslim president" First, were you finished with your sentence? Our nation sure had a lot of problems (more or worse depending on your stance) when we had a republican Christian president. I'm not saying one religion is better than the other. It's safe to say that ignorance really is like kudzu.

Kudzu, from looking at your punctuation, we can tell that you're an idiot. Just so you know, I'm an educated liberal.
