Two Arrested After T&D Fashions Burglary

Valdosta, Georgia -

On July 7, 2011 at approximately 0240 hours, Officers from the Valdosta Police Department responded to T and D Fashions, 1401 N. Troup Street in reference to a burglary to that business. Officers arrived and began to investigate the burglary. Officers located several witnesses who had seen multiple suspects running from the business carrying items from within and with their assistance, Officers were able to locate and arrest 26 year old Tremaine Monson and 20 year old Lafrederick McQuay who were both identified by multiple witnesses. Officers were also able to recover much of the property that had been stolen. Both Monson and McQuay were charged with Burglary. McQuay was also charged with Giving a False Name. Monson and McQuay were both transported to the Lowndes County Jail. The incident is still under investigation and there is a possibility that others will be charged in connection to this incident.
