[UPDATE] 12-8 3:20PM --

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) --

A Pensacola man has been charged with murder after authorities say they found DNA linking him to the crime.

Joshua Wayne Douglas was charged with murder and sexual assault
Tuesday in the death of 25-year-old Jamie Broxson. Broxson's body
was found near the body of 19-year-old Debra Jones near a power
company substation last month.

Douglas has not been charged with Jones' death.

Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan says DNA connected Douglas
to Broxson.

Douglas was being held in jail without bond. His attorney's name
wasn't immediately known.

An employee of the power company found Jones' decomposed body on Nov. 29. She was believed to have been dead for about a week.

When investigators arrived, they discovered Broxson's body.

Authorities have not said how the women died.
