Burglary in Valdosta, Two Arrested

Valdosta, Georgia --

On November 30, 2010 at approximately 1250 hours, officers from the Valdosta Police Department responded to the 400 block of N. Forrest Street in reference to a possible burglary in progress. The first officer arrived and saw two African American males running from the area. The officer found a window on the residence that had been broken out. A Valdosta Police Department K-9 responded and started a track of the two suspects who were found lying in the woods a short distance away. They were identified as Jamil Wright and Kevin Anderson. Items from the residence were found on their possession. They were both transported to the Valdosta Police Department for questioning and then transported to the Lowndes County Jail.

Arrested: Jamil Wright, African American male, 17 years of age; and Kevin Anderson, African American male, 17 years of age. Both are residents of Valdosta.
