Marianna, Florida- July 2, 2012

On July 1st, 2012 at approximately 2:46 a.m., officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to the Pearl St. Trailer Park in reference to a Burglary in progress. Upon further investigation officers were able to locate several items including circuit breakers, electrical outlets, copper wire, wooden doors and a hot water heater that had been taken from several trailers in the lot. Also located near one of the trailers was a brown book bag which contained numerous burglary tools including pry bars, pliers, hammers, and saws.

Four people were arrested for Burglary, Grand Theft, and Possession of Burglary Tools. In addition to those charges Amanda Kelley was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Prescription Pills Without a Prescription. All four subjects were transported to the Marianna Police Department for processing and later taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
