ICAC Task Force Arrests Three in Separate Investigations

Tallahassee, FL - This week, the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served three separate search warrants and arrested three men for possession of pornographic material involving children.
The ICAC Task Force is a collaborative effort between local, state and federal authorities and is specifically focused on the detection and enforcement of internet crimes against children.

On Tuesday, March 29, 2011 members of the task force served a search warrant at 3412 Cherokee Ridge Trail. Detectives from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement searched the residence and seized computer equipment containing pornographic videos and images. These images and videos depicted images of pre-pubescent and adolescent children engaged in sexual activities.

Task Force members arrested Clay M. Sullivan, 18, on 4 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and Distributing Child Pornography.

On Wednesday, March 30, 2011 task force members served a search warrant at 420 North Adams Street, Apartment # 204. Investigators with the Tallahassee Police Department, agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and detectives from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office seized computer equipment and arrested Taylor L. Karr, 23, for 13 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 5 counts of Distribution of Child Pornography. Task force members located illegal files on Karr’s computer. These files contained images and videos depicting pre-pubescent and adolescent children engaged in sexual activities.

On Friday, April 1, 2011 task force members served a search warrant at 1355 March Road. Task force agents from TPD, LCSO, FDLE and ICE seized computer equipment and arrested Andrew S. Zoghbi, 22. Zoghbi was charged with 9 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 6 counts of Distribution of Child Pornography. Task force members located illegal files on Zoghbi’s computer. These files contained images and videos depicting pre-pubescent and adolescent children engaged in sexual activities.

Task force members say these investigations are continuing. Forensic examinations on all computer equipment will be performed and additional charges are likely. All three men were taken to the Leon County Jail.
