Tallahassee, FL - November 11, 2011
Members of the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at 5531 Tower Wood Trail on Thursday, November 10, 2011. During the search warrant, detectives, investigators and special agents from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Tallahassee Police Department seized computer equipment and other evidence from the home of Thomas S. Krepps, 63.
Task force members obtained the search warrant after receiving information that images depicting pre-pubescent and pubescent children engaged in sexual activity with adults were located on Krepps’ computer. A forensic preview of the computer equipment confirmed at least 20 illegal photos and/or video files. A complete forensic examination of Krepps’ computer equipment will be conducted and additional charges are likely in this case.
Krepps has been arrested on charge of possessing child pornography (20 counts) and marijuana (more than 20 grams).
