Jackson County Sheriff's Office Arrest Two in Burglary

Jackson County, FL - In the month of January, 2010 a burglary occurred on Neel Road in the Grand Ridge, Florida area. The victim reported that the rear door of his residence was found kicked open and several items were stolen. Among the items listed as stolen was a .44 caliber revolver.

During the month of June, 2011 the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office discovered that the revolver had been sold at a local Pawn Shop.

Investigators learned that the revolver had been sold by Timothy Eugene Davis.The investigation revealed that Timothy Eugene Davis and his brother David Wayne Davis had commited the burglary and sold the stolen property at multiple area pawn shops.

Timothy Eugene Davis was arrested and charged with armed burglary of a dwelling and grand theft. David Wayne Davis was arrested and charged with being a principal to armed burglary, principal to grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
