Earlier this year, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit received several complaints from concerned citizens that a man was selling illegal narcotics from the residence located at 4779
Crooked Rd. Since that time, detectives conducted surveillance, undercover buy operations and obtained a search warrant for the residence.

On June 19, 2012, vice detectives and deputies observed 59 year old George E. Guilmette driving his vehicle near his residence and attempted to stop him for a traffic violation. Guilmette fled a short
distance to his residence where he was taken into custody. Detectives then served the search warrant at the residence where they located 34 grams of crack cocaine and firearms ammunition. Guilmette was arrested and taken to the Leon County Jail.
