Taylor County, Florida- August 7, 2012
A man is arrested and accused of attacking and robbing a woman. But he says he was the one attacked. Perry police say the two used to live together.
They say the woman told them that 50-year-old Julius Thomas approached her and yelled obscenities.
Police say he cut her hands with a knife, threw her to the ground and stole 21 dollars she had on her.
This happened near Jerkins Park in Taylor County.
Officers later found Thomas, but he fled. A search dog was used to locate him in nearby woods and he was arrested. He told police that the victim approached him to argue and pulled a knife.
Thomas was taken to the Taylor County Jail. He's facing multiple charges including domestic battery.
