Marianna, Florida - January 19, 2012 - Noon -
Two Marianna men are arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a liquor store clerk.
18-year-old Hakhelius Moore is charged with Attempted Murder and Attempted Armed Robbery. 17-year-old Deontrey Granberry is charged as a principal to attempted murder and attempted robbery.
Marianna police say the duo tried to rob a clerk at gunpoint at Big Star Liquors. Officers say Moore and the clerk exchanged gunfire and the clerk was wounded.
The clerk was taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.

On 01/18/2012 at approx. 7:20pm an attempted armed robbery occurred at the Big Star Liquors located on Penn. Ave. in which the clerk was shot by one of the suspects.
Hakhelius Jaquarious Moore entered the store brandishing a handgun in an attempt to rob the clerk. Moore and the clerk exchanged gunfire in which the clerk received gunshot wounds. The clerk was transported to Jackson Hospital and later flown to another medical facility and was listed stable condition.
The Marianna Police Department with assistance from The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Wildlife Commission, the 14th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Jackson Correctional Institution, and Apalachee Correctional Institution K9 teams we were able to locate and take into custody the above mentioned perpetrators in this incident.
