MPD: Woman Arrested for Slashing Tires, Stabbing Man

Marianna, Florida - October 13, 2011 -

On October 10, 2011 at approximately 9:39 pm officers of the Marianna Police Department were dispatched to Jackson Hospital Emergency Room in reference to a subject being stabbed. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim who stated he was at a friend’s house on Borden Street when Jennifer M. Stephenson arrived and slashed all four tires on a maroon Nissan Altima. The victim came outside of the residence to confront Jennifer M. Stephenson at which time she chased the victim around the yard with a knife and stabbed him in the side with the knife. Officers made contact with Jennifer M. Stephenson via telephone, and ask her to come the Marianna Police Department in reference to the incident that occurred on Borden Street. While waiting on Jennifer M. Stephenson to arrive at the Marianna Police Department it was determined that she had an active warrant for issuing worthless checks. Jennifer M. Stephenson was arrested and transported to the JCCF to await first appearance on the above mentioned cases.
