Man Arrested For January Madison Truck Stop Burglary

Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that back in January 2013, Deputies responded to a burglary alarm of the Yellow Pine Truck Stop located at 1407 East Base Street. Deputies discovered the business had been burglarized and the suspect had fled the scene. Deputies collected several items of evidentiary value to be submitted to FDLE crime lab in an attempt to identify the suspect.

In May of 2013 the Tallahassee Regional Department of Law Enforcement crime lab confirmed a standard of evidence for a suspect from the evidentiary items submitted. On the 4th day of June 2013, a warrant to search the person of one Michael Deangelo Fiffa was executed for final standard comparisons.

On the 26th day of August 2013 the final comparisons were confirmed as the suspect, Michael Deangelo Fiffa. A capias for the arrest of Michel Deangelo Fiffa was requested from the Third Circuit State Attorney’s Office.

On Thursday the 21st day of November 2013, a warrant for the arrest of Michael Deangelo Fiffa was executed while he was incarcerated at the Madison County Jail on other unrelated charges.

The arrest warrant was for the following:

1. Burglary of structure
2. Grand theft
3. Criminal Mischief
4. Circuit Violation of Probation
