Marianna, FL - September 12, 2012
On 11, September 2012 at approximately 11:56 PM, officers with the Marianna Police Department received a call in reference to subjects arguing off Allen Street between Orange and Eva Mae Street.
As officers arrived they located two subjects standing in the back yard of a residence still arguing.
Officers separated the subjects and identified the male as Clement Malcom Jr. As officers talked with Malcom they noticed a white substance indicative to powder cocaine on Malcom’s upper lip just below the right nostril.
In addition a small plastic bag containing a white powdery substance was located adjacent to Malcom.
A test of the substance on Malcom’s lip and of the substance inside the plastic bag provided a positive reaction for cocaine. Malcom was searched incident to arrest and a small scale was located in his pants pocket.
The scales also had a white powdery substance which tested positive for cocaine. Malcom was transported to the Jackson County Jail Facility where he will be held awaiting first appearance.
