The Pelham Police Department says 29-year-old Joshua Butler and a passenger, 32-year-old Sarah Parker, were stopped early (4/17)Sunday morning because Butler's car didn't have a tag.
Once they pulled him over, officers say Butler threw baggies of methamphetamines under his car as he tried to flee.
PPD says officers searched the vehicle and found a hand-held meth lab, as well as a homemade bomb.
Investigators determined the explosive could have injured anyone within a 200-foot radius.
Both Butler and Parker are charged with possession and manufacture of meth.
Butler is also charged with possession of a destructive device.
