of Cory Nicholas Sonnier. In the course of the investigation, a warrant
for the arrest of Patrick Paul George was obtained by the St. Martin
Parish Sheriff's Office for the charge of Obstruction of Justice.
Information obtained during the course of the investigation led
investigators to believe that suspect, Patrick Paul George, was possibly
in Georgia or somewhere along the I-10 corridor. Late last night,
officials with the U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force arrested Patrick
Paul George in Valdosta, Georgia. George was arrested for Obstruction of Justice to First Degree Murder in connection with the murder of Cory

I-10 Corridor. St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office Investigators along
with the U.S. Marshall's Office in Lafayette later determined that
George was in Valdosta, Georgia, where he was subsequently apprehended at about 11:00 p.m. on July 7, 2011. The U.S. Marshall's Office also confirmed during the apprehension that David James Anderson Jr., had also been in the company of Patrick George and is currently being sought by authorities in Georgia.
