Suspects Caught After Robbery in Submarina Parking Lot

[UPDATE] Valdosta, Georgia - April 23, 2012 -

In Valdosta, around 10:00 this morning two men were arrested for attempted robbery.

22-year old Justin Reddick and 20-year old Denzyl Dudley approached a man in the 1700 block of Norman Drive. They wielded a knife and demanded money. Both men fled the scene and were caught soon after the incident. Lieutenant Aaron Kirk spoke about the procedure when suspects flee the scene of a crime.

Kirk says, "Usually when we get a call like this and we have suspects in the area we try and surround the area, quarden off the area so that they can watch, you know, possible avenues of escape. And then several officers and detectives in the area just go searching the area as much as possible to see if they can't locate the suspects."

There were no injuries reported. The two men were taken to the Lowndes County Jail.

Around 11am today, two males approached another male in the parking lot of Submarina at 1703 Norman Drive in Valdosta. The two men attempted to rob the individual at knife point. The two males fled and the Valdosta Police Department and Lowndes County Sheriff deputies responded. Both suspects were caught in the area.

      There is too much competition here in Tally so they have to go elsewhere.

      Same type of trash doing the same dirty deeds everywhere... I'm sure Denzel Washington will be proud to know that some mother named their low life stealing thug of a son after him....

    This is awful. Someone thinking
    " something for nothing", but this put themselves in jail and cost the victim a sense of safety in their own community. Everything has a price.
