Thomas County Narcotics Investigators tell WCTV, Phillip Adams was arrested late last week but has since bonded out.
Deputies say tips from residents in the Fletcher Street area led to Adams' arrest.
Agents say when they spotted Adams, they asked him to come to their car for questioning.
"We ordered him to come to us, which he did he had a towel when he approached us. He tried to throw the towel under our vehicle," says Commander Kevin Lee.
Agents say the towel contained cocaine inside it. Adams was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
