It is the intention of this operation to ensure that all establishments licensed to sell alcoholic beverages are taking the time to check ID’s in order to keep alcoholic beverages out of the hands of those under 21 years of age. With the school year fast approaching it is hoped that these types of enforcement operations will remind retailers to check ID’s closely and refuse service to those thought to be underage.

Any establishment wishing to receive training in checking ID’s is encouraged to contact the local Office of the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco at 850-488-3227.
Similar enforcement operations are planned for the near future.

Any questions regarding this operation can be directed to Sgt. Dave Ferrell at 545-4286.
