TPD, FBI Execute Search Warrant Near Lincoln H.S. - SLIDE SHOW

Tallahassee Police say a raid of a home on Sutor Road was linked to a robbery investigation.

FBI agents and the department's TAC team served a search warrant at the home Tuesday afternoon.

Today, a TPD spokesperson says two people were arrested: Antoinido Joseph for having a bolt-action rifle under his bed and Lachonte Joseph for grabbing an officer's bullet proof vest and refusing commands to sit down.

Neither has been charged in connection with the robbery.

The home is just a block from Lincloln High School. Police say they served the search warrant at 12:45pm to make sure there would be no students headed home.

UPDATE 12-21--2011

On December 20, 2011 members of the Tallahassee Police Department served a search warrant at 1032 Sutor Road in reference to an on-going robbery investigation. For the safety of all and because of the locations close proximity to a local high school, the warrant was served at approximately 12:45p.m., a time when all students were to be in their classrooms.

The search warrant resulted in the arrest of the two subjects listed below. The corresponding probable causes are attached to this document.

Officers and agents with bullet proof vests surrounded a house on Sutor Road just a block from Lincoln High School.

Tallahassee Police officers and FBI agents dotted the lawn in front of a home on Sutor Road at about 1:30 today.

There was at least one young woman in handcuffs sitting on the stairs next door. Police were taking her picture.

Neighbors tell us officers initially surrounded the house with guns drawn.

Tallahassee Police say they were serving a search warrant at the house, but wouldn't reveal the nature of it. TPD Spokesman David Northway says no one was arrested. He says an ambulance parked out front was just a precaution and no one was injured.

Students from Lincoln High School walked right by the aftermath on their way home. They were told to stay on the opposite side of the street.
