Five Tallahassee men accused in a string of fires have all entered pleas to lesser charges.

The prosecutor, Wade White, confirms that all five men have now entered no contest pleas to improper exhibition of a dangerous weapon and criminal mischief. Those are misdemeanor charges.

White confirms all five men were sentenced to 18 months on probation, accompanied by either community service or time in the sheriff's work camp.

White says in each case adjudication was withheld, meaning if the men comply with the terms of their probation, their records can ultimately be sealed.

White says all of the men have already paid the court-ordered restitution.

Tallahassee, Florida - August 21, 2012 -

Three Tallahassee men were arrested in connection with a series of fires on July 9th.

A spokeswoman with the state fire marshal's office says the fires were started when the trio tossed Molotov cocktails.

Nathaniel Buehner, Michael Lowstetter, and Reid Webb face charges ranging from felony criminal mischief to arson.

State Fire Marshal's spokeswoman Deborah Jamison says there were multiple fires set between 2:30am and 2:30pm. The three men are accused of setting fire to hay bales, port-a-potties, a trash can, an electronic road sign and even a piece of construction equipment used for paving.

Damages total $8,000.

Jamison says the arrests were made after someone called about a suspicious vehicle near one of the fire scenes.
