Franklin County, Florida - June 22, 2011
On Tuesday, June 21, 2011, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit, along with members of the uniform division, conducted a drug investigation in the St. James area of Franklin County. The investigation resulted in the arrest of three individuals from Tarpon Springs, Florida. Deputies seized a 2001 Toyota, 4 door, Sedan; $6619.00 in US currency; a 9mm handgun; 323 prescription pills, including Methadone, Xanax and Oxycodone; drug paraphernalia; and a small quantity of Marijuana.
Debra A. Ricciardi, age 45, of Tarpon Springs was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon; Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance; Possession with the intent to Sell or Dispense a Controlled Substance and Possession of Cannabis. Debra Ricciardi is being held under an $80,000 bond.
Michael A. Ricciardi, age 19, of Tarpon Springs, the Son of Debra Ricciardi, was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer; Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. Ricciardi is being held under a $65,000 bond.
Matthew P. Coyle, age 30, of Tarpon Springs was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon; Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Coyle is being held under an $81,000 bond.
