Tallahassee, FL - A Tallahassee school is put on lockdown for over an hour this morning as police search for, and arrest two juveniles on attemped burglary charges.

Leon County Sheriff deputies arrested Tyrone Hatcher and Samuel Yant after they say they attempted to break into a home on Tisha Drive off Velda Dairy Road just before 9 am. Before they could break into the home, a neighbor noticed the young boys acting suspicious in the neighborhood and called officials. Authorities immediately arrived to the neighborhood and had to chase down the two boys. They later caught them hiding under another residence and took them into custody.

Leon County resident Sally Huston says, " The sheriff men and women came quickly and they caught the guys and they came quickly and I just can't say how wonderful our sheriff department is in the county for all of us."

WCTV has also attached the LCSO Press Release about the arrests.

The Commuunity Chrisitan School which was only feet away from the location of the attempted burglary was instructed to be on lockdown for about an hour and a half until deputies caught the suspects. Both of the junveniles were charged with two counts of burglary, one count of possession of burglary tools, and one count of resisting arrest without violence.

Bo and Dee....address please? I would like to bond both of them out and send one each to your residence so you can rehabilitate each of them. I'm sure they have a wonderful future in store, and YOU can be a part of that. Hopefully you have younger children so these thugs...I'm sorry, young men, can become role models. Thanks for doing your part in making our community safer. I just wish we had more like you.

These perps are remarkably consistent in the things they steal, when they break in, and how. But there are steps you can take to make it harder. This great article is definitely worth the read:

I thought there was a policy where the media could not show photos of juveniles. How were they charged with burglary when the story says attempted burglary? Well, I pray these young men, not Thugs, learn this is not the way and become productive citizens and positive members of our community.
