TPD says that Capital Circle Northeast is now open.
Last night at approximately 11:00pm, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash near Capital Circle Northeast and Care Drive. The driver of a brown 2001 Buick Park Avenue lost control as he was traveling north on Capital Circle NE. The vehicle crossed over the median and struck a utility pole. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. As a result of the damage to the utility pole, all lanes of Capital Circle NE (north and south bound lanes) have been closed. Officers are on scene to assist motorists with traffic direction, but the roadway is not expected to open until 10:00am. Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes and avoid the area, as significant traffic delays are expected.
