Accident Sends Two to the Hospital

Mike Bellamy with the Tallahassee Fire Department reports firefighters received the accident call at 11:00 a.m. at Fairbanks Ferry and Kinscross Ln.

TFD was able to open the doors without using extrication equipment. Three people were inside at the time of the single vehicle crash. Two of them were transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital by Leon County EMS. The third person left the scene in another vehicle.

WCTV Eyewitness News was there as one of those patients, a young woman, was loaded from a gurney onto an ambulance.

Her head and neck were restrained at the time.

The red pick up truck crashed in a ditch on the north side of Fairbanks Ferry Road.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office was also on scene.

Tallahassee, FL - An accident at the intersection of Fairbanks Ferry Road and Kins Cross Lane sent three people to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital this afternoon.

According to Mike Bellamy with the Tallahassee Fire Department, the three victims were riding in a red pickup truck at the time of the incident.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office, EMS, and Tallahassee Fire Department are investigating the scene.
