UPDATE 10:30pm 8/10/2011

A head-on collision sent two men to the hospital and shut down areas of Capital Circle North West for hours.

Troopers on scene say 34-year-old, William Darby was driving a Chevy pickup truck north on Capital Circle North West near Flowerwood drive.

For unknown reasons, Darby veered into oncoming traffic and hit a gasoline tanker..

As of 10:30pm, 8/10 Darby was listed in serious condition at TMH. The driver of the gasoline taker, Earl Germany, is in serious condition at Capital Regional.

Tallahassee, FL -- August 10. 2011 --

A two vehicle accident on Capital Circle NW and Flowerwood Drive has been affecting traffic since around 2pm.

LCSO and FHP are on scene of an accident between and oil tanker and a pickup truck.

Deputies say the driver of the pick up truck is under trauma watch at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. His passenger, a woman, was treated for minor scrapes. Also, the driver of the oil tanker is being treated for minor injuries at TMH.

Traffic is still being rerouted in the area, but both vehicles involved in the crash have been loaded onto wreckers as of 4pm.
