Accident in Madison County Leaves Several with Serious Injuries

Madison County, FL - Two cars collide in Madison County causing serious injuries.

FHP says four of the five injured were taken to South Georgia Medical Center to be treated. One was taken to Shands Hospital in Live Oak.

Troopers say the accident happened around 5pm at the intersection of U.S. Highway 90 and NE Drew Way. A 1995 Jeep Cherokee and a 1997 Ford Ranger collided causing the cars to spin and the Cherokee to overturn.

The driver of the Ford Ranger was cited for careless driving, since it was determined to have driven into the path of the Jeep Cherokee.

    I wonder why they were not taken to Madison Memorial Hospital?
