Duval Street Closed Overnight Tuesday and Wednesday

Duval Street where it intersects with Gaines Street will be closed to all traffic overnight, Tuesday, September 13, and Wednesday, September 14. Gaines Street will remain open. The closure is due to work being done on the crosswalks as part of the Gaines Street project and will be effective from 7 p.m. on Tuesday to 7 a.m. on Wednesday and 7 p.m. on Wednesday to 7 a.m. on Thursday.

The detour route will be clearly posted and will take motorists around the closure via Bloxham Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to Madison Street and back to Duval Street.

The previously advertised closure of Bronough Street this evening has been cancelled as work at the intersection was completed ahead of schedule.
