Tallahassee, Florida - June 21, 2011 -
Segment between Monroe and Bronough - Gaines Street between Monroe Street and Bronough Street will be closed to all traffic overnight, Tuesday -- Wednesday, June 21-22. The closure is due to resurfacing work and will be effective from 7 p.m. on Tuesday to 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
Though lane closures will also occur on Duval and Bronough streets this weekend, one northbound lane will remain open to traffic on Duval Street, while one southbound lane on Bronough Street will be maintained for motorists.
Citizens will be able to access Gaines Street businesses via Madison Street by using Macomb Street or Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. From the south side of the road, citizens will be able to access Gaines Street businesses via St. Francis / W. Bloxham streets by using Macomb Street, St. Michael Street or Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
