State Road 267 commuters will continue to encounter daily lane closures from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17 while construction crews from C. W. Roberts Contracting resurface the roadway, perform drainage work and construct guardrail between I-10 and State Road (SR) 20. Lane closures will continue Monday, June 20 through Friday, June 25 while workers continue construction activities.
This work is part of the $7.2 million, 355-day project to resurface SR 267 from south of Interstate 10 (I-10) in Gadsden County to State Road (SR) 20 in Liberty County. Work began January 2011.
Speeding violations double in construction zones, when workers are present, drivers are urged to use caution and to obey traffic flaggers.
