Tallahassee, FL -- June 14, 2012 --

Due to torrential rains, the outside northbound lane of Thomasville Road (U.S. 319) two-miles north of Timberwolf Crossing in Tallahassee will be closed tonight, June 14. Weather permitting, crews will complete paving this section of roadway, as soon as conditions allow.

This work is part of the $8.7 million construction contract to resurface State Road (S.R.) 61 (U.S. 319/Thomasville Road) between Timberwolf Crossing and the Georgia State Line.

Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the speed limit when traveling through the construction area, and to use caution, especially at night when driving in work zones.
