Mahan Drive Construction Update

Chipley –Construction of the left bridge superstructure near the I-10 interchange is ongoing as is the construction of Pond 1. Construction of the left roadway from Arendell Road to Walden Road continues. Crews are installing sewer and water lines and embankment from Arendell Road to Walden Road. Landscaping materials are being installed at various locations within the project limits. Additionally, storm drainage installation continues along the left roadway.

Thornton Road will remain closed to through traffic until Tuesday, Feb. 14. Motorists can access Mahan Drive via Edenfield Road. Detour signs are posted.
